Lyritech Moon River 8 Galeano

High sensitivity, natural musicality and effortless realism

The Lyritech Moon River 8 Galeano is an elegant floorstanding loudspeaker created for music lovers who value natural tone, openness and emotional involvement above unnecessary complexity.

Its refined cabinet combines a luxurious piano-lacquer finish with genuine wood detailing, producing a loudspeaker that looks every bit as distinguished as it sounds. Its slender proportions allow it to integrate comfortably into a wide variety of listening rooms, while its impeccable finish gives it the presence of a genuinely high-end product.

An open and immersive presentation

The Moon River 8 Galeano delivers an exceptionally open, spacious and three-dimensional soundstage. Instruments and voices are presented with precise positioning, convincing scale and a remarkable sense of physical presence.

Its tonal balance is smooth, natural and welcoming, making it particularly rewarding with acoustic music, vocals, jazz, classical recordings and small ensembles. At the same time, its excellent dynamic ability gives rock, blues and orchestral music the energy and impact they require.

Rather than emphasising individual details artificially, the Moon River 8 Galeano presents the musical performance as a coherent whole. Fine information emerges naturally within the soundstage, without creating fatigue or distracting the listener from the music itself.

Designed for low- and medium-power amplifiers

With a sensitivity of 96 dB and a nominal impedance of 8 ohms, the Moon River 8 Galeano is remarkably easy to drive. It can produce a lively, dynamic and room-filling performance from amplifiers delivering as little as 7 watts per channel.

This makes it an excellent partner for refined valve amplifiers—including 300B and other low-power designs—as well as Class A and conventional solid-state amplifiers. Its high efficiency allows the amplifier to operate comfortably, preserving musical dynamics, tonal colour and low-level detail.

The result is a presentation that feels immediate and effortless, even at modest listening levels. Music remains expressive, articulate and emotionally engaging without requiring large amounts of amplifier power.

A loudspeaker made for music

The Moon River 8 Galeano follows Lyritech’s fundamental design philosophy: high efficiency, tonal accuracy and a direct connection with the musical performance.

Its sound is natural rather than analytical, detailed without becoming aggressive, and spacious without losing focus. Voices possess body and believable human presence, while instruments retain their individual texture, colour and harmonic richness.

The Moon River 8 Galeano is therefore an ideal choice for listeners seeking a loudspeaker that combines:

• High sensitivity and easy amplification
• Excellent compatibility with valve amplifiers
• A wide and holographic soundstage
• Natural, smooth and convincing tonality
• Strong dynamic expression at both low and high listening levels
• Elegant construction and an impeccable visual finish
• Long-term listening comfort without fatigue

The Lyritech Moon River 8 Galeano does not merely reproduce a recording—it recreates its atmosphere, scale and emotional character, allowing the listener to become immersed in the musical event.
