At the heart of the YUNX C-6 is the 6.5-inch Crystal-6 full-range driver, allowing the loudspeaker to operate without a conventional multi-way crossover network. One of the defining features of the YUNX C-6 is its carefully engineered cabinet. Lii Song has taken inspiration from the construction and finishing techniques used in high-end pianos, adding independent outer panels with a deep piano-lacquer finish over the main enclosure. This is not simply an aesthetic choice: the additional outer structure increases the effective thickness and rigidity of the cabinet walls, helping to reduce unwanted resonances.

The result is a presentation with greater solidity, density and control, while preserving the openness, immediacy and natural character that make full-range loudspeakers so attractive.

A significant amount of hand finishing is involved in the construction of the cabinet, as the external panels are individually produced and carefully fitted to the enclosure. The combination of a glossy black front baffle, richly lacquered wood panels and gold details around the driver gives the YUNX C-6 a genuinely luxurious and artisanal appearance.

Despite its relatively compact dimensions, the YUNX C-6 is specified down to 40 Hz, making it capable of forming the basis of an extremely simple and musically convincing system: a good source, a high-quality amplifier and a pair of YUNX C-6 loudspeakers.
