Description
The Lyritech Riverside 6 is born from a very clear idea: make the difficult feel effortless. A compact, well-proportioned loudspeaker designed for real rooms, not laboratories. It doesn’t try to impress in the first five minutes; instead, it wins you over with time, when you realise you’ve been listening for hours without fatigue and without the urge to change anything.
One of its key strengths is amplification compatibility. With an advised power from just 7 watts upwards, the Riverside 6 pairs beautifully with low-power tube amplifiers, single-ended designs, and modest solid-state units alike. It doesn’t demand power; it uses it wisely, translating every watt into music rather than heat.
The frequency response, rated at 40 Hz to 18 kHz, is deliberately honest and well judged. Bass is controlled, tuneful and proportionate, never pretending to be what it isn’t, while the midrange remains open and expressive. The treble is smooth and natural, avoiding artificial sparkle in favour of long-term listenability.
Low-frequency support is handled via a carefully tuned rear port, using a 50 mm diameter, 185 mm long port tube. This solution allows the Riverside 6 to reach down with authority while maintaining control and coherence, especially in typical living rooms where balance matters more than headline numbers.
Physically, the cabinet measures 260 × 420 × 330 mm (W × H × D), making it compact enough to integrate easily, yet substantial enough to provide proper acoustic volume. It’s a size that makes sense: stable, well proportioned, and designed to work with the room rather than fight against it. In short, the numbers are there to serve the music — nothing more, nothing less.
