Lyritech Moon River 6

High efficiency, natural voices and a remarkably holographic soundstage

The Lyritech Moon River 6 is an elegant high-efficiency floorstanding loudspeaker designed for listeners who seek natural musicality, realistic tonal colour and a deeply immersive listening experience.

With its slender cabinet, refined combination of dark front baffle and natural wood finish, and carefully balanced proportions, the Moon River 6 integrates beautifully into both contemporary and traditional interiors. Its discreet presence makes it particularly suitable for small and medium-sized listening rooms, yet its sound possesses a scale and authority that belie its compact appearance.

Music with presence and emotion

One of the most distinctive qualities of the Moon River 6 is its ability to create a spacious and convincingly three-dimensional soundstage. Voices and instruments are presented with excellent focus, clear separation and an almost tangible sense of presence.

Vocals are especially impressive. They sound warm, articulate and immediate, with the natural body and harmonic richness needed to convey the personality and emotion of the performer. Acoustic instruments retain their authentic texture, while subtle musical details emerge naturally without making the presentation sound analytical or artificial.

The result is an open, coherent and emotionally engaging sound that encourages long listening sessions without fatigue.

High sensitivity and easy amplification

With a sensitivity of 96 dB and a nominal impedance of 8 ohms, the Moon River 6 is exceptionally easy to drive. It can deliver a lively, expressive and room-filling performance with amplifiers producing as little as 7 watts per channel.

This makes it an excellent partner for valve amplifiers, including low-powered triode designs, as well as refined Class A and conventional solid-state amplifiers. Its high efficiency allows the amplifier to work comfortably, preserving dynamics, tonal colour and low-level information.

Even at modest listening levels, the Moon River 6 retains its sense of energy and musical expression. At higher levels, it remains composed, open and dynamically convincing.

Coherence above complexity

The Moon River 6 follows Lyritech’s philosophy of combining high efficiency with a direct and coherent musical presentation. Its design prioritises temporal integrity, natural tonal balance and the ability to reproduce music as a unified performance rather than as a collection of isolated details.

This coherence is immediately noticeable in voices, piano, strings and acoustic recordings, where timing and harmonic relationships are fundamental. The sound flows naturally, with precise imaging and a stable soundstage that extends beyond the physical position of the loudspeakers.

Compact dimensions, surprisingly complete sound

Despite its relatively narrow cabinet and elegant proportions, the Moon River 6 delivers a remarkably complete and full-bodied presentation. Its specified frequency response extends from 25 Hz to 18 kHz, providing convincing bass weight alongside clear, crystalline and naturally integrated upper frequencies.

Bass is controlled and articulate, adding body and foundation to the music without overwhelming the midrange. The result is a well-balanced loudspeaker capable of handling intimate vocal recordings, jazz, chamber music, classical works, blues and rock with equal musical conviction.

Designed for genuine music lovers

The Lyritech Moon River 6 is an ideal choice for listeners who value:

• High sensitivity and easy amplifier matching

• Wide, deep and holographic soundstaging
• Strong coherence across the musical spectrum
• Clear and detailed treble without unnecessary aggressiveness
